Dr. Suvidutt Sundaram is an Advocate-on-Record practicing in the Supreme Court of India. Since 2007, he has been engaged in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Although he primarily practices in the Supreme Court of India, he handles cases in all tribunals, courts, and commissions based in Delhi.
He has closely worked with several large corporate groups, investors, private equity funds, and renowned banks and financial institutions. Additionally, he has worked closely with both the central and state governments in India, advising on numerous transactions, litigating, and framing policies. Before starting his independent practice in 2012, he worked with Nuli & Nuli, an AOR law firm, and later with DKJ Legal Solutions Group.
Dr. Sundaram has filed several landmark cases in the Supreme Court, ranging from the decriminalization of the provision of adultery to the Sabarimala temple women's entry case and the Padmanabhaswamy temple case, among others.
Among his various accomplishments, he has drafted Private Member Bills such as the Anglo-Indian Welfare Bill, 2016, and The Waste Management and Recycling Bill, 2016. His research papers have been published in international and national journals, and he has attended numerous national conferences.
Balancing his academic pursuits, he serves as a Visiting Faculty in many law schools and universities across India.
